You and me and inner peace

A 3-hour talk on wellbeing in the workplace

Imagine that job satisfaction had absolutely nothing to do with your worklife. That your work tasks and the behavior of your colleagues and managers didn't have any impact on your well-being at work.

Sounds crazy, right?

This talk will help you realize that it's actually not as crazy as it sounds, and will point you in the direction of inner peace and well-being that is independent of all kinds of external factors.

Content:

Gain an understanding of your psychological design.
Discover that peace and joy are always available and what it takes to feel them.
Learn how to avoid getting sucked into the noise of your thoughts.
Become better at being present in the moment.
Gain a greater understanding of your actual needs and desires and become better at communicating them.
Understand the different states of mind and how they affect yourself and others.
Become better at seeing why others act the way they do and take it less personally.
See the joy in the little things.
Understand the importance of separate realities.
Less stress and worry in everyday life.
Learn about Facts...and everything else.
Greater job satisfaction.

Turn the lecture into a course:

What specific actions would be appropriate and possible in your organization.
Find the personal phrases/exercises that can help you regain your calm.
Replace the dissatisfied corridor talk with curiosity and solutions.
Learn to distinguish between facts and everything else.
Get a common language that is supportive and uplifting.
Enriching exercises, both individually, in pairs and in groups.

Achieve:

People say that understanding the above factors gives them inner peace, makes them much less susceptible to external factors and helps them feel more joy in their everyday lives.

They feel better able to sort out trivial dissatisfactions and deal more appropriately with any real challenges.

As one person said to me:

'It's like my 'don't care' button has changed from a resignation button with underlying dissatisfaction to an understanding and acceptance button'

General about my lectures:

All my talks address the whole person, not just the employee. The knowledge shared will have a positive impact both in your personal life and in the workplace.

This is based on the knowledge that a division into 'work persona' and 'private persona' is an artificially created division - and that employees who thrive at home also have more resources to use at work.

My talks are based on the inside-out theory and offer theoretical knowledge, entertaining and recognizable examples and experiences from my own life, as well as insightful exercises for the participants.
